A Fresh Start

Make Space for What’s Next

Whether you’re letting go of something that no longer fits or making room for something new, laser is the first step. From full removal to targeted fading, we tailor every session to your vision

Strategic Fading

Total Removal or Just Enough Fade

Laser isn’t all-or-nothing. We can fully remove a tattoo — or just fade it enough to open up new design possibilities. Whether it’s a solid block of ink, an old name, or a piece that no longer fits, laser gives our artists more flexibility to build something better in its place.

The Final Result

Clearer Skin. Cleaner Ink. Better Options.

Laser creates room to move forward — whether that’s with fresh skin or a fresh tattoo. At 46 Tattoo, our artists and laser techs work together to make sure the end result is smooth, intentional, and exactly what you want. It’s not about covering the past — it’s about creating something that fits now.

I didn’t want to remove my whole tattoo — just fade it enough to get something better. After two laser sessions and a new piece on top, it looks like a totally new tattoo. Clean, intentional, and exactly what I wanted.

The cover-up styles I liked just weren’t going to work over my old tattoo — it was too dark. A couple laser sessions gave my artist way more freedom, and now it looks like a fresh piece, not a cover-up.

I didn’t want to cover it or work around it — I just wanted it gone. The removal process took a few sessions, but the results were totally worth it. My skin looks clear, and it feels like a fresh start.

Common Laser Scenarios

Full Removal

For tattoos you’re ready to let go of completely, we offer full removal with minimal skin impact — giving you a fresh start, no ink left behind.

Targeted Clearing

We can fade or remove dense, dark, or blown-out areas without touching the rest — perfect for names, harsh outlines, or parts that no longer fit your vision.

Light Fading

A few laser sessions can fade your existing tattoo just enough to make space for a new design — giving your artist more flexibility and cleaner results.

Book a Laser Consult

Every tattoo is different. We’ll take a look at yours, talk through your goals, and build a plan — whether that’s full removal, targeted fading, or prepping for a new piece. No pressure. Just expert advice.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your goal.

  • For light fading: 1–3 sessions
  • For full removal: 6+ sessions

Ink density, colour, skin type, and placement all play a role.

Can I get a new tattoo over the area?

Yes — that’s one of the most common reasons people choose laser. You’ll need to wait about 6–8 weeks after your final session to ensure proper healing before getting new ink.

Do I have to remove the whole tattoo?

Nope. Many clients choose to fade just part of a tattoo to make space for something new. Full removal is an option, but not the only one.
